A hanging pallet garden is a great idea of utilizing space. As it has to be hanged on walls, it doesn’t take any room space or any floor space, and you are free to keep your furniture or anything you would like to place.
So, if you want to create a hanging pallet garden, get a wooden pallet, a staple gun and staples, sandpaper, landscaping paper, a hammer, nails, planting soil, ¼ inch thick medium density fiberboard (MDF) and a plant of your choice.
First you have to sand the wooden pallet to eliminate any rough spot. You must sand all sides and edges. If your pallet do not have any backing, you must nail the MDF into the back of the pallet. It will prevent of dropping out of the soil from pallet and now staple the landscaping paper to the bottom, back and sides of the pallet.
Now, place your pallet facing upside, Fill soil in it, making sure to pack it down firmly while still leaving room for your plants. Plant seeds of your choice and plant them starting the bottom of the wooden pallet. If your pallet is completely filled with soil, then fill them well with water. Now left them for two weeks and never forget to water them well during these two weeks.
After two weeks, you can place your pallet upright anywhere on walls in your balcony.

To make a Framed Succulent, you first have a selection of succulent. Note that the best succulents to use for a garden should be of smaller verities as gardening expert Cara Meyers says. In order to create one, you will need a medium or large picture frame with the glass, pruning shears and backing panel removed, hammer, nails, a wooden shadow box cut to fit the back of the frame,½-inch hardware cloth cut to fit the inside dimensions of the frame, ¼-inch plywood backing cut to fit the back of the shadowbox, staple gun and staples, soil, and a chopstick or pencil.
Add your shadow box to the back of the frame by the help of hammer and nails. Shadowbox will add depth to the frame, to form a tray that can provide more space for soil and succulents. Place hard wire cloth in frame and staple it along wise frame’s edge to secure it. Now, put the plywood on the top of hard wire cloth and nail it to the shadow box.
Turn the frame and add soil, push it through the hard-wire cloth. Please ensure that the soil is evenly distributed and continue adding soil till it fills the entire box up to the cloth. Once it is full of soil, poke the soil using pencil or chopstick in the soil where you like to place your succulents.
Once you placed the plants to your liking, leave it in the shade for one or two weeks. Avoid to water it for first two weeks. After it you can hang the frame in your balcony wall. Just ensure that hooks should be sturdy.
